About Beyond the Challenge
This charity, a 501 c3 non profit, was formed to help people with disabilities get beyond their challenges.
The “challenge” changes from day to day regardless of the disability. Ongoing challenges are a part of everyone's life. We hope to make a difference and get all participants beyond their challenges.
Our agency goal is to provide a safe learning environment for adults to spend their day. They will be engaged in learning many independent living skills; including, cooking in our industrial kitchen, hygiene, and cleaning skills. They also learn about healthy eating, engage in different forms of exercise, and create art of various mediums. We have inclusion of typical role models as often as possible. Accommodations and or inclusion is extremely important in our program.
